OIE http://promedmail.org/post/20210720.8530744 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- US authorities might consider a policy similar to the European Pet Travel Scheme (PETS), which has proven extremely efficient in Europe (apart from illegal importation via alternative routes): Vaccinate, test rabies virus neutralizing antibody titer after 30 days, wait for another 3 months before importation (incubation after exposure/infection before the anti-rabies vaccination, which will NOT act as post-exposure prophylaxis!). 米国当局は、欧州で極めて効果的であることが証明されているヨーロッパペット旅行 制度(PETS)に類似した政策を検討するかもしれない(別ルートでの違法輸入は除 く)。ワクチンを接種し、30 日後に狂犬病ウイルス中和抗体価を調べ、さらに 3 ヶ月 待ってから輸入する(狂犬病ワクチン接種前の曝露・感染における潜伏期間は、曝露 後予防としては機能しない!)。
Given the correct implementation of this procedure, not a single imported rabies case in a dog, cat, or ferret was diagnosed in any importing country. These import regulations for pets have been implemented in Europe officially since 2004, though incubation of rabies may exceed 4 months in rare cases. この手順が正しく実施されていれば、どの輸入国でも犬、猫、フェレットの輸入狂犬
