On 7 Feb 2025, a source said that a woman in Dong Nai province was bitten by a rabid dog in Dak Lak. She learned of the information and went to a medical facility to get a rabies vaccination.

025年2月7日、情報によると、Dong Naiの女性がDa Lakで狂犬病のイヌに咬まれたという。この情報を知った彼女は、狂犬病ワクチンを接種するために医療施設に行った。

In recent days, the online community has been continuously sharing information searching for the identity of the woman riding a motorbike who was bitten by a rabid dog.

ここ数日、インターネット上のコミュニティでは、狂犬病のイヌに咬まれたバイクに乗った女性の身元を特定しようと、情報を共有し続けていた。

According to the posted content, on 2 Feb 2025, a couple riding a motorbike with a license plate from Dong Nai province stopped at a house in Lien Son town (Lak district, Dak Lak) to rest. Here, the woman was unfortunately bitten by a chained dog.

掲示された内容によると、2025年2月2日、Dong Naiのナンバープレートをつけたバイクに乗ったカップルが、Lien Son町（Dak LakのLak地区）の民家に立ち寄り、休憩した。ここで、女性が不幸にも鎖につながれたイヌに咬まれた。

A few days later, the dog showed signs of illness and died. Feeling suspicious, the homeowner invited a veterinary team to take samples for testing and the results confirmed that the dog had rabies.

数日後、その犬は体調不良の兆候を見せ、死亡した。不審に思ったその家の住人は獣医療チームを呼び、サンプルを採取して検査したところ、そのイヌが狂犬病に感染していることが確認された。

Immediately afterwards, the homeowner extracted the security camera recording the couple's license plate number and posted it on social media asking for sharing so the woman could know the information and get a rabies vaccination.

直後、その家の住人は、そのカップルのナンバープレートを撮影していた防犯カメラの録画を抽出してSNSに投稿し、その情報を女性に知らせて狂犬病の予防接種を受けられるようにと、シェアを呼びかけた。

Immediately after posting, the online community actively shared the information on many groups with the aim of letting the couple know.

投稿直後から、インターネット上のコミュニティでは、多くのグループでその情報を積極的に共有し、カップルに知らせようという動きが活発化した。

[Resident PDT] (residing in Lak district) said that after receiving information from a neighbor who wanted to find a couple who had been bitten by a rabid dog, he asked a police officer to help him find them. This officer used the motorbike's license plate number and

contacted the police in Dong Nai for assistance.

（住民PDT）（Lak地区在住）は、狂犬病のイヌに咬まれたカップルを見つけたいという近所の人の情報を受け、警察官に捜索を依頼したと述べた。この警察官はバイクのナンバープレート番号を使い、Dong Naiの警察に支援を要請した。

"Fortunately, the authorities were able to contact the woman and she immediately went to a medical facility to get her 1st rabies vaccination," said [PDT].

「幸いにも当局がその女性と連絡を取ることができ、彼女はすぐに医療施設に行って狂犬病の1回目の予防接種を受けた」と（PDT）は語った。

[This life saving act of kindness of the rabid dog owner is commendable, however it can be assumed that the dog was not vaccinated for rabies as part of a responsible pet ownership. It can be also assumed that without the warning from the online content and the police identification of motorbike ownership through its plate number, the victim would not have sought a timely post-exposure prophylaxis and this is also a key point for consideration. It is also advisable not to approach a chained and unknown dog as this may indicate a furious dog. - Mod.ST

この狂犬病の犬の飼い主による命を救う親切な行動は称賛に値するが、犬の飼い主として責任ある行動として、狂犬病の予防接種を受けていなかったと思われる。また、インターネット上の警告や、バイクのナンバープレートから警察が所有者を特定するといったことがなければ、被害者は適切な時期に暴露後予防措置を講じることができなかった可能性があり、これも考慮すべき重要な点である。また、鎖につながれており、かつ、正体不明の犬には近づかない方が良いであろう。その犬が攻撃的である可能性を示しているかもしれない。- モデレーター.ST
